Overview

In general, the Archives holds information on members of the University who matriculated (ie were admitted to the University) up to July 1932.

We are happy to deal with enquiries for information concerning former members of the University, but please be aware that our limited resources mean that we can only deal with requests for information concerning specific individuals, and not broad-ranging searches for family names.

In order to help us respond effectively to your enquiry, we also request that, if possible, you give us the full name of the individual(s) in whom you are interested and approximate date of attendance at the University. It also helps us greatly if you can tell us what sources (such as Joseph Foster's Alumni Oxonienses) you have already consulted, and what information you are hoping to find.
